About Peter Berner
Peter Berner is without doubt one of Australia's most popular and respected entertainers and comics. He is the host of the ABC Television program The Einstein Factor and a key member of Triple M's Breakfast Show The Cage.
Peter started his career as a stand up comic in 1988. Since this time he has performed locally and internationally, as well as writing and performing solo comedy shows in festivals in Australia and the UK.
His intelligent humour has set him apart as one performer who can comfortably straddle comedy styles as disparate as satire, observational comedy and reactive comedy with ease leaving audiences in hysterics.
Peter has appeared as a guest and panellist on various television and radio networks for shows that include Triple J, Good News Week and Hey Hey It's Saturday, and in 1999 Peter emerged as a major television talent as the host and writer of BackBerner.
Broadcast nationally on ABCTV, his satirical comedy show received strong ratings and critical acclaim, which led to award nominations and the rare comedy television accomplishment of recording 140 episodes.
Peter has also developed into one of Australia's sharpest corporate performers. Easily adaptable and quick-witted Peter is a favourite as Master of Ceremonies and Stand-Up Comedian
