About David Campbell
David Campbell’s multi-faceted career has brought him to theatrical stages in New York ("Saturday Night" and "Babes in Arms"), London ("Hey Mr. Producer! The Musical World of Cameron Mackintosh") and Australia ("Shout!," "Les Miserables," "Guys & Dolls," and "Only Heaven Knows").
He has performed in concert at such venues as the Sydney Opera House and at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops. He has shared the stage with Liza Minnelli and performed for the Queen and Duke of Edingburgh.
David has also headlined numerous cabaret venues in the United States and Australia including New York's Joe's Pub and the prestigious Rainbow & Stars. David can be heard singing the title role in the DreamWorks animated film "Joseph. King of Dreams"
His recording credits include: "Yesterday is Now," "Taking the Wheel," "Grateful the Songs of John Bucchino," "Hey Mr. Producer!," "Number One Musicals," "Banana Lounge," Andrew Denton's "Musical Challenge 2," and cast recordings of "Saturday Night," "Babes in Arms," "Only Heaven Knows," "A Kid Inside," and "Shout!"
David has amassed an impressive list of awards. He has received a New York Back Stage Bistro Award, two MO Awards and a MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award.
