About Brian Doyle
Brian Doyle, born in Dublin Ireland is one of the most sought after comedians in this country. He has won six prestigious "MO" awards also voted "best Comedy Artiste of the year by the Variety Club.
Brian is renowned for his laid back style, producing humour that is both political and topical. His hilarious tales cover all avenues of life - politics, sport, religion - no subject is sacred.
Brian has supported many overseas stars including Bob Hope, Eartha Kit, Tom Jones and Ingelburt Humperdink as well as President Clinton on his Australian speaking tour.
Brian has performed approximately four hundred stand up spots on television including: Graham Kenne y's EMT, The Don Lane Show, The Big Gig, (ABC) Sports Awards (ABC) Rugby League Show, (Ch 7 ) Guest Compere The Midday Show, (Ch 9).
As an Actor he was awarded “Best Actor of the Year” in Drama School in Dublin, regular in ABC's "Palace of Dreams", and one year in Ch 10's "The Restless Years"- Has appeared in most local Drama Series.
His writing credits include: The Logies., The Don Lane Show, Ernie Sigley’s Tonight Show, The Bert Newton Show, Election News (Ch 9). He hasa also won the Golden Stylus Award for Radio Commercials, as well as performed in all the recent election broadcasts for channel Nine.
