About Paul Martell
Paul Martell is a multi talented comedy performer, who adds impact to any occasion with fast paced Irish wit and an abundant array of Hollywood impressions like, Nicholson, Connery, Michael Cain, Stalone, Clint Eastwood, Columbo, Elvis, Dean Martin & Jerry.
Whether he is ‘Master of Ceremonies’ at a three-day conference, ‘Compering’ an awards presentation, creating a ‘Hoax Character’ at a seminar or performing his Cabaret show at a Gala dinner, Paul stands alone as the consummate professional!
He is the only Australian performer to have been voted Comedian of the Year at the ‘Australian Variety Artists Mo Awards’ on eight occasions. Two of which were the ‘gold’ award for Comedy performer of the Year.
In 1997 the Varity Club of Australia presented Martell their Heart Award for comedy. On the Hilton Hotel circuit, he has appeared with Andy Williams, Shirley Bassey, Thelma Houston, Isaac Hayes, Wayne Newton and Shirley MacLaine. Television credits include: Don Lane, Bert Newton, Midday with Ray Martin and Hey Hey It’s Saturday.
