About Geraldine Doyle
Geraldine Doyle is a dangerous woman. When she turns on her comedy, nothing absolutely nothingis safe. Why, she'll go after the foibles of the world and those who commit them. But she'll also take on her own dear dad, and throw the family dog in for full measure.
The point about Geraldine is that her comedy is like a laser beam, right to the point and unerringly accurate. Still, it never damages anybody. And she will do it to herself as well as to anyone else if she sees a need to bring balance to a tilted situation. With all that, she's about as daft and unpredictable as a truly good comic can get.
Geraldine Doyle has won seven MO Awards for Best Stand Up Comic, Best Female Comic and Best Versatile Performer. Born in Ireland, Geraldine immigrated to Australia where she is now known by millions of people for her regular appearances on Australian television.
Geraldine is serious about her comedy. That's why she insists on writing her own material, working from her life situations and her incisive observations of the people and events around her. She is at her best off-the-cuff and like the great comics of the past, includes her audiences in all that she does.
Not only is Geraldine a great comedian but she is also a wonderful singer and guitarist. Her show is exciting, full of warmth, belly laughs and great songs. As well as her Concerts and Touring shows, Geraldine is also in constant demand for corporate after dinner performances and as a Master of Ceremonies.
