About Livinia Nixon
Livinia Nixon is most well known for her role on Channel Nine's long-running variety show Hey Hey It's Saturday where she appeared weekly in front of a live studio audience interviewing international celebrities for the program.
These included: Matt Le Blanc, Gary Oldman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Drew Carey, Heather Graham, Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe and Brooke Shields. During this time, Livinia juggled her Hey Hey commitments with a morning, then drive time shift on Melbourne radio MIX-FM.
By 2000, she was reporting Victoria's tourism highlights in GTV9's Postcards. Further, Livinia produced her own stories and, ultimately, hosted the series.
This brought her to the attention of the Executive Producer of That's Melbourne. Livinia hosted this series and the TV special, Melbourne's Secrets of the City.
Locally, Livinia is well-known as “the face of Melbourne", as she continues to promote on behalf of her home city. During 2002/2003 Livinia presented the weather on National Nine News and was appointed full-time weather presenter early 2004.
In the same year Livinia played her first film role as Celeste Sky, a television presenter, in Jimeoin's feature film, The Extra. In 2005 Livinia joined the Nine Network Getaway team as a guest reporter.
Most recently, she's again on camera with Ed Phillips as they present Temptation (the new Sale of the Century) weeknights, nationally, on the Nine Network.
In the corporate arena Livinia is regularly asked to take on the role of Master of Ceremonies or Guest Presenter roles.
