About Calvin DeGrey
Calvin has been active in show business all his life. In fact, Calvin’s father is none other than well-known comedian Slim DeGrey. Calvin was brought up doing pantomimes, school musicals, pubs, clubs and theatre. Since then Calvin has appeared in various television commercials and series.
His true love however is stand up comedy and for the last 16 years has worked regularly at the Comedy Store in Sydney as well as many other venues. Calvin DeGrey is a fair dinkum, true blue, ridgey-didge, she’ll be right on the day, cheque’s in the mail type of bloke.
During his performance he will often use his guitar to sing clever musical parodies in between his hilariously funny and punchy comedy routine. He has supported such legendary artists as the Village People, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Vince Jones, Jon English, and Monica and the Moochers.
