About Andrew Daddo
Andrew Daddo has spent half his life in the entertainment industry. He is perhaps best known as one of the presenters on the popular Network Seven program The Great Outdoors.
Andrew began his television career at Network Ten while an undergraduate at Monash University, Melbourne where he completed an Arts degree majoring in Politics and History. In 1987, Andrew moved to ABC TV to host its national music show The Factory before being lured to New York to be a host on MTV.
In 1992, Andrew came back to Australia and spent time at the Nine Network before moving to the Seven Network in 1995. That year, he became a household name as host of Australia's Funniest People, World's Greatest Commercials and TV WEEK Logie Awards. From there he took up the position of co-anchor on the Seven Network's magazine-style news program 11AM which continued to 2000.
Next Andrew co-hosted the Olympic early morning program Olympic Sunrise with Johanna Griggs. Other highlights of Andrew's career include presenting the International Advertising Awards at the Cannes Festival for the past four years.
He has been a regular on Australian radio and has proved a popular master of ceremonies at several events including the Australian Designer Collections. Andrew has never shed his boyish sense of humour, making him the perfect choice as MC for your next event
