About MC Tim Ross
As the 'Rosso part' of comedy act Merrick and Rosso, Tim Ross built up an enormous fan base through sell-out stand-up performances across Australia and a popular stint on Triple J's drive show before making the move to the competitive Sydney FM market as co-host of Nova 96.9's top-rating breakfast show for an astonishing nine years.
On TV he has starred in Merrick and Rosso Unplanned (Nine Network), The B-Team (Network Ten) and The Merrick and Rosso Show (Foxtel), and has made countless guest appearances on shows ranging from Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? to Australian Story.
In 2001, Tim wrote the bestselling Merrick and Rosso, The Book Volume Two which has sold over 20,000 copies. He is also a contributor to Men's Style Australia and Shop Til You Drop and was voted by Madison as the best dressed man on TV.
When Tim Ross left his award-winning, ratings-smashing radio show at the end of 2009, many wondered what he would do next. Now we know.
He wrote a book entitled Mum Had a Kingswood a collection of rants and recollections about all sorts of stuff; a brain dump of the funniest and most controversial things from Rosso's life.
