About Brady Halls
Brady Halls is well known to for his appearances as a Reporter on the Channel Nine programs: Today, Wide World of Sports and A Current Affair.
Brady started his career at Radio 2CH in 1977 as a panel operator before commencing his journalism cadetship with the station. In 1983, he joined Channel 10 as a news reporter for six years. At the end of 1989 he went to New Zealand for the launch of TV3, reporting for news and their version of A Current Affair. In February 1990, he was back in Sydney at WTN (Worldwide Television News), reporting and producing stories for overseas distribution.
Brady joined Channel Nine in November 1990, reporting for A Current Affair Summer Edition, and in 1991 started with Today, producing and presenting a regular segment on new products. He also began reporting and presenting updates for Wide World of Sports.
At the end of 1991 he returned to A Current Affair Summer Edition, (where he has worked continuously since 1990). During his time at Nine Brady has also worked on numerous programs including Sydney Extra (1992), Sex (1993), Looking Good (1994), Today (1994 to1995) and Midday from 1996 to 1998.
In June 1999 Brady left Channel Nine to work freelance, lecturing in communications at Sydney's University of Technology and producing at Channel Seven. During this time he also continued reporting for Channel Nine, working on The Road to Glory, which followed the Olympic Torch Relay and also for A Current Affair Summer Edition.
In December 2000 Brady returned to Channel Nine as a full time reporter with A Current Affair.
