About Wil Anderson
Wil Anderson has hung up the headphones after five years as co-host of Triple J breakfast Show. But he hasn't left all of his media commitments behind. He continues to host The Glass House with Dave Hughes and Corinne Grant on ABC-TV and writes a weekly column for The Sunday Magazine the most widely read magazine in the country.
But his focus for 2005 will be live stand-up comedy. Wil has had an interesting career path for a stand up comic. He actually began his media career as a journalist for the Financial Review covering politics in the Canberra press gallery.
He then decided he needed a real job and became a stand up comic! Wil's brand of comedy blends politics and pop culture into a seamless monologue ranging from the serious to the surreal.
His steam train energy gives his material a charm and accessibility that has made him popular in whatever live arena he works in. His ability to perform to a diverse audience makes Wil a great choice for any corporate event.
