About Helen MacDonald

Helen Macdonald is described as Australia's leading Corporate Optimist. She believes that Optimism isn't merely a matter of smiling at minor crises or in the face of adversity but a real mindset, especially when it comes to balancing work and family.

Helen has over fifteen years in Personnel Management and Training commencing with corporate roles, and for the past seven years has operated as a self employed consultant, specialising in soft skill development and team building.

Helen holds formal accreditations in a variety of management and personal development courses including Strategic Sales Training, Negotiation Skills, Customer Service and Team Building programs.

With skills in program development, as well as facilitation of both large and small groups, Helen has designed, customised and/or delivered training for a wide client base across the Asia Pacific region. Ranging from large and small corporate to state and local government. Her clients come from industries as diverse as IT, banking and finance, transport, telecommunications, automotive, petroleum, and pharmaceuticals.
