About Larry Emdur

Larry's media credits include reporting and presenting current affair programs, lifestyle shows, entertainment productions, live international broadcasts and sports shows.
In 2003, Larry returned to the Nine Network as host of The Price Is Right, the program he fronted with his trademark energy and charm from 1993 to 1997.
Larry began his media career at 16 as a night copy boy on The Sydney Morning Herald. In 1984, Emdur secured a position in Channel Seven's newsroom, where for two years he was a reporter and overnight newsreader. Next, he joined Network Ten's Good Morning Australia as a feature reporter.
In 1989, Larry was given his first role as a game show host, on Double Dare. In 1991 he hosted the Seven Network's game show The Main Event and in 1992 joined Sydney radio station 2UW. He was also co-host of the successful Mix 106.5 Sydney breakfast radio team.
His work on the program earned him a Logie nomination for Most Popular Light Entertainment Personality and a People's Choice nomination for Australia's Most Popular TV Host. Over the years, Larry has shown his versatility and talent with guest host roles on Tonight Live With Steve Vizard, Hey Hey It's Saturday, The Midday Show, and In Melbourne Tonight.
He also co-wrote and presented the top rating World's Worst Driver. Larry has also hosted Cash Bonanza on Nine and Seven's Surprise Wedding
