About Troy Hazard
For 18 years Troy Hazard has been working with multiple outlet retail and service groups, developing integrated marketing strategies to help them grow their business and develop local marketing skills to keep driving the business to the next level.
His conference presentations and workshops are designed to take the mystery out of how to get the marketing edge, and to offer solid 'take home' strategies to give participants something to work with in their local areas.
Through a collection of case studies, real life experiences and information gathered from across the globe, Troy will help you plan your attack on the market. Nine "start up" companies in 15 years have come with some great stories and scars. But it is those stories and scars that have kept Troy's audiences engaged in 16 countries.
After a string of jobs that included a junior manager with Myers, working in the family fishing tackle business, radio announcer, and media executive Troy decided to head out on his own in private enterprise. He quit his job, and with no prospects of work, not that he was looking, he had a week off and promptly went into renovating houses. From there he established his marketing business.
Since then he has worked as a marketing and business consultant for over 60 franchise and multinational brands and set up contacts around the world for information exchange and strategic alliances. He has served on the International Board of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organisation (YEO) serving a term as the Director for Asia Pacific and Director of International Marketing and Communications.
Troy has recently been voted International President Elect for World Entrepreneur Organisation (WEO) the premier, peer-to-peer, global community, network and resource for entrepreneurs. He is also the author of How to Get the Edge in Marketing Your Small Business
