About James Knight
James Knight is a best selling author, award winning journalist and television documentary maker. He believes that life is about living not existing. He lives by the motto:“Try the impossible because you just may succeed."
James has worked in India, spent time in the crime ridden ghettos of Chicago; run in the New York Marathon; been a net bowler with the Australian cricket team and drunk vodka with locals when hopelessly lost on a train in Poland.
James has been described by literary critic Murray Waldren as “A nomadic story chaser who runs marathons for fun." Since beginning his media career in 1988, he has made a habit of looking at people and issues from a different angle.
In the 1990's James was an award winning television reporter with the Ten Network and these days produces his own human interest and sports documentaries.
James is also a best selling author, having written biographies about Mark Waugh, Shane and Brett Lee and most recently The Dragon's Journey, an incredible story about Vietnamese boat person, Duy Long Nguyen.
When James isn't chasing stories he does indeed run marathons for fun.
