  Glenn Singleman
About Glenn Singleman

Dr. Glenn Singleman is a unique Australian character. A medical doctor, professional adventurer, acclaimed documentary filmmaker and world record holder, he has been one of Australia's top professional speakers since 1993.

In 1992 Dr. Singleman made world headlines when he jumped (with a parachute) from The Great Trango Tower (20,000 feet or 6258 metres) in Pakistan. BASEClimb - the film he made about the adventure - screened in 127 countries to over 200 million people.

Critically and popularly acclaimed the film won 21 International Awards, set new standards in its category and became National Geographic's top selling adventure documentary. Footage of the jump, is the best ever shot of BASEjumping.

It consistently leaves audiences stunned and deeply moved. Everyone relates to the powerful metaphors it represents - overcoming fear, pursuing our dreams and achieving the 'impossible'. For Dr. Singleman BASEClimb was just one in a string of bold adventures (including flying the first hot air balloons over Mt. Everest and the world's highest black tie dinner party) that previously seemed impossible.

All Dr. Singleman's projects have close parallels with sound corporate process and can provide powerful visual and metaphorical reinforcement of these ideals. His World Record breaking achievements evolve from the original vision or goal, through research and development to meticulous planning and careful implementation (and adjustment where necessary) of the plan; to training and skill development, surmounting obstacles, changing perceptions and overcoming limiting beliefs to be successful.

His messages are universally relevant to individual and corporate challenges and are delivered with the assurance and credibility gained from the great depth of his training and experience.

Glenn Singleman and Heather Swan have set a new world record for altitude BASEjumping and Wingsuit BASE by climbing Mt Meru (6660m) in India and jumping from a ledge at 6604m.

After six years of hard work Glenn and Heather are thrilled to have achieved their dream. Glenn describes the expedition as 'the hardest thing he's ever done.' It took 22 days to climb the mountain and prepare the jump site.
