About Calvin Milroy
Calvin Milroy is a specialist in retail strategies and management. Calvin began his career as a creative director for an accredited advertising company, before accepting a managerial role for a leading Canadian retailer, developing and conducting training programs in merchandising, visual display, customer psychology, professional selling and retail management.
After moving to Australia, he took on a position with the Retail Traders Association of Victoria for several years before starting up his own management consultancy. Over his career he has designed and led numerous retail study tours to the USA, Canada and Japan.
He has worked as a project manager and assessment consultant in the development of training processes for the Saudi Arabian government, as well as the development of a major merchandising program for the general managers of over 1,000 government department stores in Beijing, China.
He has worked with a wide range of companies including: Australia Post, Carlton United Breweries, Castrol Oil, Collins Booksellers, Kodak Australia, Bunnings, Telstra, The Nurseryman’s Association and Universal Press to name a few.
His keynote and workshop topics include: Resilience in Management, Selling Strategies for Non Sales Professionals, Changing Your Store from a Maze to Amazing, Bottom Line Retailing and Corporate Psychology and How to Master It.
