About Artescape
"I have an issue. Let me paint you a picture" Artescape is an unconventional art-based activity that invites participants to paint their pressures away as they are let loose in a creative studio filled with bright acrylic paints, canvases and a host of very unusual paint applicators such as whips, chains, fly swatters and eggs. No artistic skill is required; there are no traditional art brushes in the Artescape studio.
Artescape is designed to be a group activity for 8 or more participants with a common interest, whether it is just for fun or a business related activity. The studio has the capacity to accommodate up to 100 people. Their friendly crew are on hand to guide your group through the 2-hour experience. And after the 2 hours your group gets their fully boxed masterpiece to take with them.
There are no winners or losers, it is not weather-dependent, it is not age or gender biased and the simplicity of this universal concept translates across cultures, countries and languages. Artescape provides the perfect environment for reinforcing corporate creative focus. There are very few activities that can so quickly galvanise understanding of how a team or individual can change a paradigm. The Artescape experience is about making change happen.
The Artescape experience is a tactile and personal learning experience. There are no lectures, overheads or materials to read. The success of the Artescape experience lies in the drawing together the participants' experiences through targeted facilitation.
This facilitation can have participants demonstrating parallels between their Artescape experience and their work environment on issues such as: problems people face in trying to be innovative, issues with individual and team involvement, getting people to think differently about issues, allowing people to make mistakes and learn from them, confronting unfamiliar circumstance with courage, dealing with communication difficulties, recognising individuality and spontaneity and developing teamwork.
