About Rob Redenbach
Rob Redenbach served with the Australian military in South East Asia during the mid 80s. His involvement in combative approaches saw him travel extensively through Korea, Japan, China and Papua New Guinea before reaching South Africa in 1994, where he spent five years teaching customised self-defence to government organisations, including; the Special Task Force, the South African Navy and Nelson Mandela's Presidential Protection Unit.
A respected consultant, Rob has demonstrated his training techniques at the FBI Academy at the United States Marine Corps base at Quantico, trained state and federal US law enforcement teams, taught empty-hand combat to British and European special forces, and during the build-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics he provided defensive tactics training to subject-matter experts from Australian special forces, the State Protection Group and the Australian Federal Police.
Still actively involved in the security industry, Rob has recently completed a three month assignment in Baghdad, Iraq, providing armed protection for officials directly responsible for writing the new Iraqi Constitution.
Rob Redenbach has been featured in media as diverse as; Qantas in-flight radio, UK Ultra-FIT, The Today Show, Business Review Weekly and the American Society for Law Enforcement Trainers.
Equally comfortable delivering a light-hearted 20-minute speech in an after-dinner setting, a dynamic 60-minute keynote presentation at a business conference or an extended interactive workshop for business leaders, Rob has successfully transferred the psychology of personal protection to everyday life.
