About Julie Garland McLellan
Julie Garland McLellan is a practical strategist with a wide experience in developing and then implementing strategy. She is also author of the book All Above Board: Great Governance for the Government Sector.
Given her track record in building new businesses, turnarounds, negotiating joint ventures and obtaining board approval for complex projects, Julie is able to speak from experience on how best to put strategy into action.
Qualified in engineering, company directorship and applied finance as well as having an MBA, Julie can examine strategic issues from the perspective of operational, financial and governance participants and formulate value propositions to engage each group.
Julie has served on the boards of The Victorian Minerals and Energy Council, Melbourne Water Corporation, City West Water, VENCorp and The Melbourne University Engineering Foundation. She is a former executive with BHP, KPMG and Wimpey.
She currently consults in strategy development and implementation. She presents and speaks on strategy at board level and on governance for growth.
Julie gives practical strategies for creating shareholder wealth. She has worked with leading Australian and international organisations in energy, resources, professional services and construction industries.
