About Anthony Telford
Chef Anthony Telford is a Food Presenter on Channel Ten’s “9AM with Dave & Kim” and a regular Guest Chef on “Ready Steady Cook”. He is also the author of the ‘The Kitchen Hand’.
Originally from Melbourne, Anthony trained in a number of high-profile restaurants before becoming at age 21, Executive Chef of 4½ star Rydges Hotel in Melbourne.
Anthony’s 20 years experience as a professional chef has made him a master in Asian, French, Northern Italian, Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisine.
It’s Anthony’s expertise in the kitchen which has put him on our televisions, newspapers, radios and magazines. Anthony was the on-screen chef for the eight part TV series “Guess who’s coming to dinner”.
He was a contributor for the Melbourne Herald Sun Food and Drink Section, he hosted “Chewing the Phat” on Triple RRR covering food and hospitality matters and wrote for “Melbourne Palate” and “Bean Scene”.
Anthony was the resident cooking demonstrator at the ‘Supply and Demand’ store in Melbourne for two years and he also set up ‘A Chef Affair’ teaching domestic cooks how best to use their kitchens and equipment.
