About Jo Bailey
Jo Bailey (now Silvagni) is host of the Seven Network's Melbourne Weekender. Through her career and personal life Jo has gained first-hand knowledge of most aspects of Melbourne life including entertainment, fashion, sport and family.
Born and bred in Melbourne and one of the most recognised and loved faces on television Jo brings to the program an understanding of what makes Melbourne tick. Jo first gained prominence as the co-host of Sale of the Century in the early 1990s.
She then moved on to other roles including presenter on the fashion-based program Looking Good and Foxtel's first female Entertainment News presenter.
Jo's style, confidence and high spirits keep her in constant demand for television endorsements, corporate events and speaking engagements. She successfully juggles her career with motherhood. Jo and her husband Steve (former Carlton champion full-back) have three boys aged seven, five and two.
